A concert aimed at KS2 schools, introducing members of the string family and performed by Chetham’s youngest musicians.

Programme to include:
Warlock – Capriol Suite 1st mvmt
Greig – Holberg Suite 1st and 2nd mvmts
Bucimis – Bulgarian folk tune in 15/16

The concert will be broadcast live on this page on Wednesday 26th May 2021 at 11am and will last for approximately 45 minutes.

I enjoy playing the violin because it opens up a lot of ways you can go forward with it. For example, being part of the Lower School Orchestra and Violetta is really fun because we get to play amazing pieces together, and have loads of fun! Improvisation is awesome too because you can make anything up and enjoy being free, just you and your instrument. ~ Y7 student
