Praised for her “coppery” and “richly coloured mezzo”, Phoebe Rayner is a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music. She is a Stoller Hall Emerging Artist and a 2022-23 Britten Pears Young Artist specialising in contemporary music and the development of new works. Passionate about programming unusual repertoire, she looks forward to presenting Peter Maxwell Davies’ rarely performed mono-drama ‘Miss Donnithorne’s Maggot’ alongside other twentieth-century works by Messiaen and Cage.

Accompanied by David Palmer.
