Image Manchester Camerata: Where the Bee Dances – POSTPONED

Jess Gillam is a pioneer, a Classical Brit winner and one of the most exciting saxophonists working today. Jess oversees a special programme inspired by the energy of nature, embracing the power of the sea, the ethereal beauty of sunrise, and the vibrancy of skylarks and dancing bees in spring sky.

Joining Jess for this performance is BBC Young Musician competition winner Callum Smart. Callum, on solo violin, will evoke the soaring lark in flight with Vaughan-Williams’ concert favourite The Lark Ascending.

The power of the natural world is perfectly matched by Jess and Callum’s talent and enthusiasm, Camerata’s skilled playing and Gábor’s inspirational conducting.
