Read moreMusic in Residence is a programme which works with KS2 classes in primary schools across Greater Manchester.
The primary goal of the project is to work with staff, and consists of designated sessions with key members of staff (Music Co-ordinators or the nominated Music Champion) and more broadly with the full staff team. The aim is to develop personal skills and strengthen music in the entire educational setting, looking at ways in which music can be used as a tool for teaching and learning and embedded more widely and creatively across the whole curriculum.

In addition, the project will be great fun for the students and they will learn lots of new things – both about music and other curriculum areas!
We look forward to working with schools and seeing music grow.
